My Louisiana Love Screenings
NAPT is happy to announce that "My Louisiana Love" will be screening everyday, except for Wednesdays, at The Smithsonian Institute's Rasmuson Theater in the American Indian Museum from Sunday, July 1st until Tuesday, July 31st. Screenings will be held from 3:30PM - 4:30 PM and attendance is free.
This film tells the story of a young Houma woman’s turn to activism after
Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, and the BP oil spill. A look at the complex and uneven relationship between the oil industry and the indigenous community of the Mississippi Delta, it is both unique and frighteningly familiar.
